How do I find the right florist?

Florists should be chosen based of the needs of the arrangement you are looking for.  Most florists are able to accommodate smaller arrangements such as gifts, corsages, and boutonnieres.  Wholesale florists are often the perfect choice for large occasions, such as weddings, while they can not accommodate smaller orders.  It is also important to keep in mind the quality of the work.   Any time constrictions that you may have need to be considered as well to ensure the arrangement can be ready on time. 

How do I choose the right arrangement?

Choosing the right arrangement can be difficult.  Florists are an excellent source to assist in picking the perfect arrangement.  They work with flowers on a daily basis and can easily assist you in finding the best arrangements for your needs.  If you do not have access to a florist and plan to order online a little personal research can be helpful as well.  Find out what your loved ones favorite flower is, what their favorite smell, or color is.  All of these things can be incorporated into an arrangement make it personal and perfect. 

When ordering online, how can I be sure what I see is what will be received?

As always when ordering things online, one should be cautious.  Do some research, many websites have reviews which can let you know if they are credible or not.  Most large websites you find will be credible, because un-credible websites are often deleted.  It is not common to receive and arrangement completely different then what you ordered.  If it does happen credible websites will have a customer service e-mail or phone number where you will be able to file a complaint and it will be handled. 

When planning a wedding what is the best type of florist to use?

Weddings can be stressful and help is needed to make them go as smoothly as possible.  While looking for a florist for your wedding there are many things to keep in mind.  Will the florist you choose be able to complete your order no matter how large it is? Many times a wedding requires so many arrangements that it can be difficult for some florists to complete the order.   Will the florist you choose be able to assist you with arrangements outside their shop?  Many arrangements can be large or need special set up a good florist will be willing to assist you at your wedding location with these needs.  Will the florist you choose provide quality work?  While many florists take pride in their work, there are some whose arrangements do not look as best they could.   Your wedding day should be perfect and bad flower arrangements can put a damper on things. 

What types of arrangements are appropriate to send in the event of a death?

While sending flowers to express your condolences for a deceased friend or family member it is important to keep them in mind.  Many arrangements are appropriate to send in this time of grief.  If you are sending your arrangement to the funeral home often times baskets or spays are appropriate.  If you are sending the arrangement to the home of a family member or friend of the diseased vase arrangements are appropriate.  It may be important to include a letter with these arrangements to further express your sorrow for the loss.  In a time a grieving floral gifts are greatly appreciated.
